Cardio Kickboxing
Cardio Kickboxing is a fun cardio workout with professional heavy kick / punch bags and music. There are a few pairs of loaner gloves but it's best to have your own if you are planning on coming more than once. They need to cover at least to the 2nd knuckle, like these. No experience is needed. Age 16+. All fitness levels welcome.

Adult Self-Defense (Co-ed)
For beginners as well as students with some experience, ages 16+, all fitness levels welcome. (The focus is not on fitness but on easy, practical techniques that do not require a lot of strength.)

You'll learn:
-heightened awareness to AVOID attacks before they happen
-other preventative considerations
-easy, straightforward escapes from wrist grabs, neck grabs, bear hugs, hair grabs, and more.
-effective and easy strikes with hands, elbows, knees, and feet
-one easy to access and easy to use pressure point to deter an attacker

Adult Tang Soo Do Beginners
(Korean Karate)
Learn the basic movements of the Korean martial art of Tang Soo Do: punches, kicks, blocks, and stances, while improving balance, flexibility, cardiovascular fitness, and strength, in a safe, fun, and encouraging environment. Learn to easily defend against wrist grabs and other basic self-defense methods. Adults of all ages welcome. Earn your yellow belt. Break your first board!
Class will be taught concurrent with intermediate adult students but with its own instructor, so some activities such as warmup will be taught together while some activities will be taught separately. If you’ve always wanted to try martial arts this is the perfect way to start. Participants should be prepared to remove their shoes or have indoor shoes only for use on the mats. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle.​
